On October 1st 2021, less than two months away now, importers bringing in fresh produce are likely to have to adhere to new EU to GB import rules.

Pre-notification of the arrival of Products of Animal Origin (POAO), low-risk animal by-products not for human consumption (ABP), and High Risk Food Not Of Animal Origin (HRFNAO) come into force. Health certificate requirements for POAO and ABP will also come into force.
