Miles is a senior operational and programme change manager, with extensive Health & Safety experience developed within warehousing, manufacturing & supply chain industries as well as getting unique experience of running a rail terminal and working within the port industry.
Miles is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, with more than forty years experience working at senior logistical and strategic business management level in progressive and developing companies. This experience led Miles to establish his own Compliance Consultancy in 2009, with the mission to improve client’s commercial performance through effective risk management.
Corinne brings the team together and is the main point of contact for clients and colleagues alike.
With a passion for customer service and over thirty years experience in managing businesses and streamlining processes in a variety of industries, Corinne knows what good service looks like and she takes pride in putting processes in place to ensure the team provides excellent customer service whilst managing customer expectations.
Operator Licence Compliance and Health & Safety Consultant
Peter has over 35 years experience as a transport manager, commercial vehicle dealer point manager and is a qualified motor engineer. With expert knowledge of Operator Licence Compliance, Peter works with clients to ensure their operational compliance and to help them reap the business benefits achieved by running vehicles efficiently and safely.
Peter specialises in providing support and assistance to hauliers and operators, including system audits, optimising bottom-line performance, external transport manager provision and business planning and financial reporting.
Having worked directly for large logistics companies and closely with shipping lines, hauliers and freight forwarders as manager of a large LLP, Kevin understands the complexity of the international supply chain and the importance of what lies at the heart of it – customers!
Kevin’s valuable experience in Logistics, Control Tower Management, Warehousing and Contract Management complements the VARTAN team.
Josh is currently learning about the world of VARTAN whilst undertaking a BTEC Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration. Part of his apprenticeship program will be related to customs clearance – which will be Josh’s focus whilst training at VARTAN.
Combining the knowledge gained from his day-to-day work at VARTAN and his apprenticeship will enable Josh to help with queries on Customs Clearance processes and procedures.
Customs Compliance Consultant
James has joined VARTAN as our Customs Compliance Consultant. Combining his experience in Customs Clearance with his history in accuracy-based roles, James will be an integral support for clients as they navigate customs-related topics.
His passion for teaching and streamlining operations as well as his ability to understand and absorb new procedures places him well as part of Team VARTAN.
Darryl has over 25 years of experience in Shipping, Warehouse and Logistics, Freight Forwarding and the Customs industries.
He has worked for both Multinational and National corporations, therefore knows the importance of fulfilling promises, meeting deadlines and delivering nothing other than an exceptional customer service to clients.
